국어 이해 영역에 해당하는 읽기와 듣기의 원리와 방법, 그리고 그 교육에 대한 이론적 지식을 습득하고, 중등학교 교육현장에서 국어이해교육의 내용과 방법을 탐구한다. 이를 바탕으로 사회통합을 위한 이해교육론의 이론을 학습하고 실제로 적용해본다.

It would be acquired the principles and methods of reading and listening which are corresponded to the Korean comprehension area and its theoretical knowledge about the education, and on the basis of this, it would be researched the contents and method of Korean language comprehension education in the secondary school education field.
